Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance is hydrolytically unstable at pH 4, 7 and 9 (half-life less than 12 hours)
Conclusions:
In accordance with REACH Annex XI section 2, the study for water solubility does not need to be performed because the test item hydrolyses rapidly and therefore analytical determination is technically not feasible. However, to provide experimental evidence on this endpoint, a modified hydrolysis study was performed. Please refer to IUCLID section 5.1.2 for further details.
Executive summary:

In accordance with REACH Annex XI section 2, the study for water solubility does not need to be performed because the test item hydrolyses rapidly and therefore analytical determination is technically not feasible. Description of key information

In accordance with REACH Annex VII, section 7.7, this study must not be conducted because the test item is not hydrolytically stable (see IUCLID section 5.1.2).

Experimental study for determination of the hydrolytic stability of the test item was performed without pH adjustments due to the need of modified testing conditions (high content of organic modifier) and the known tendency to fast hydrolysis (see IUCLID section 5.1.2).
