Hydrolysis

The study on hydrolysis has not to be conducted because the substance is readily biodegradable by OECD criteria (see IUCLID section 5.2.1).

Biodegradation in water: screening tests

In a Closed Bottle Test conducted according to OECD TG 301 D, EU Method C.4.E and OPPTS 835.3110, the test item was determined to be readily biodegradable (5.2.1-1).

Transport and distribution

Adsorption / desorption

The study on adsorption / desorption does not need to be conducted because the substance is readily biodegradable (see IUCLID section 5.2.1) and has a low Log Pow of 0.28 (see IUCLID section 4.7).
