First-aid measures

Description of first aid measures:
General advice: Take off all contaminated clothing immediately. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
If inhaled: In case of accident by inhalation: remove casualty to fresh air and keep at rest. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
In case of skin contact: Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water.
In case of eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Consult a physician.
If swallowed: Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do NOT induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately.

Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:
No information available.

Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:
Treat symptomatically.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media:
Suitable extinguishing media : Water spray jet / Dry powder / Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Unsuitable extinguishing media: High volume water jet

Specific hazards during firefighting:
Smoke and fumes, toxic.

Special protective equipment for firefighters:
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Use personal protective equipment.

Further information:
Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions:
Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid dust formation.

Environmental precautions:
Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Avoid subsoil penetration.

Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up:
Use mechanical handling equipment. Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.

Handling and storage

Advice on safe handling:
Avoid dust formation.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Use only in well-ventilated areas.

Advice on protection against fire and explosion:
Dust may form explosive mixture in air.
Take measures to prevent the build up of electrostatic charge.
Keep away from heat and sources of ignition.

Requirements for storage areas and containers:
Store in original container.
Keep containers tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Advice on common storage:
Do not store together with bases.
Keep away from oxidizing agents.
Keep away from reducing agents.

Engineering measures:
Local exhaust

Personal protective equipment:
Respiratory protection: In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Half mask with a particle filter P2 (EN 143)
Hand protection: Protective gloves complying with EN 374. Gloves should be discarded and replaced if there is any indication of degradation or chemical breakthrough. Take note of the information given by the producer concerning permeability and break through times, and of special workplace conditions (mechanical strain, duration of contact).
Eye protection:Wear eye/face protection.
Skin and body protection:Long sleeved clothing

Hygiene measures:
Do not breathe dust.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Keep away from food, drink and animal feedingstuffs.
When using do not eat, drink or smoke.
Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday.

Protective measures:
Antistatic shoes

Environmental exposure controls:
General advice: Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.Avoid subsoil penetration.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity:
No data available

Chemical stability:
Stable at normal ambient temperature and pressure.

Possibility of hazardous reactions:
Dust can form an explosive mixture in air.

Conditions to avoid
Avoid dust formation.
Keep away from heat and sources of ignition.

Materials to avoid:
Strong bases
Strong oxidizing agents

Hazardous decomposition products
Carbon dioxide (CO2) / Carbon monoxide

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods
Product: Take to an established disposal company according to the waste regulations.
Contaminated packaging: Emptied packages must be properly disposed of in accordance with the waste disposal regulations.
