- Qualitative assessment
Within a preliminary test an applicable concentration was determined.
1 g of "Reactive Blendwell Orange” was weighed into a 250 ml measuring flask and dissolved with demineralized
water (DW) to prepare the stock solution. Afterwards the stock solution was diluted: 4ml + 496 ml of DW.
The solutions and bind solution were tempered at 20°C. After reaching the auto zero, a single beam photometer Perkin Elmer Lambda 25 was used for the measurement.
A first measure with the cell filled up with the corresponding blank solution (DW) was done to establish the base line.
After that, a second measure with the sample solution was also done.
Parameters:
Instrument: Perkin Elmer Lambda 25 (configured as single beam), using 1 cm path-length and UV Winlab
V:2,85,04
Solvent: demineralized water
Range: 380 nm - 740 nm
Scan speed: 240 nm/ min
Wavelength interval: 1 nm
Ordinate type: A
