Mean value: The solubility Csof the test item 4,4’-Dimethoxytrityl chloride in distilled water at 20oC was 3.0 mg/L (RSD: 20.4 %)

The determined water solubilities for both runs show a repeatability of < 30 %, therefore the results of the two runs are considered to be in accordance.

At the end of each column elution experiment, there was still enough test item left on the surface of the glass beads at the end of all runs. There were no visible changes in the coating during the runs.

Conclusions:
The water solubility of 4,4’-Dimethoxytrityl chloride in double distilled found to be 3.0 mg/L at pH 6.8 and a temperature of 20 °C.
Executive summary:

The water solubility of 4,4’-Dimethoxytrityl chloride was determined in double distilled water according to the "column elution method" described in the European Commission Council regulation (EC) No 440/2008, Annex, Part A, A.6., OECD-guideline 105 and the EPA Product Properties Test Guideline OCSPP 830.7840 and found to be 3.0 mg/L at pH 6.8 and a temperature of 20 °C.
