Any other information on results incl. tables
The assays No. 1 and 2 were not taken into account since the difference of results between these assays was relatively significant. The apparatus was then calibrated and 2 other assays were performed.
Two independent measurements at 20.5°C (assay No. 3) and 20.3°C (assay No. 4) were done. Run 1 of assay No. 3 and runs 1 and 2 of assay No. 4 were not taken into account because they did not comply with the quality criterion.
The two assays resulted in relative densities of 4.769 +/- 0.005 and 4.764 +/- 0.004, respectively. The mean relative density was thus 4.767 +/- 0.005 at 20.4°C.
Reference volume (Va) was 79.444 cm3.
Volume of sample cell holder (Vc) was 27.678 cm3.
Test item sample weight was 5.7598 g and 6.5610 g in assay No. 3 and 4, respectively.
The measurements are described in the tables below.

Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- The mean relative density of yttrium trifluoride was determined according to the EU A.3 method and OECD test guideline 109 in compliance with GLP using a gas comparison pycnometer. The relative density of the test item was determined to be 4.767 ± 0.005 at 20.4 °C
