Additional information

Phototransformation

No data available. Not required under REACH for this tonnage band.

Hydrolysis

According to structural properties, hydrolysis is not expected.

Biodegradatation:

The substance is not readily biodegradable (according to OECD criteria).

Adsorption / Desorption:

Adsorption to solid phase is expected.

Henry's Law constant

From the water surface, the substance will not evaporate into the atmosphere.

Distribution modelling

Modelling of distribution behaviour in the environment is not possible since several physical parameters are not available and standard calculations are not useable for metal-complexed dyestuffs. However Orasol Black X51 is poorly soluble in water and volatility is estimated to be neglibible due to its physical state, it can be expected that soil and sediment will be the main target compartments.
