Sublethal observations / clinical signs:
During the 96 h exposure to 2-methylbut-3-en-2-ol, mortalities were as follows:

Nominal test cumulative mortality after
concentration 1 h 4 h 24 h 48 h 72 h 96 h
(mg/l)
Control 0 0 0 0 0 0
1000 0 0 0 0 0 0

Maximum test concentration causing no mortality: 2150 mg/l.
Minimum test concentration causing 100% mortality: 4640 mg/l.

Symptoms of intoxication (apathy, narcotic-like state, tumbling) could be observed at nominal 2150 mg/L.

EC0 (96 h): 1000 mg/L; LC0 (96 h): 2150 mg/L

All values refer to nominal concentrations of 2-Methylbut-3-en-2-ol.
