Description of key information

MMD = 50.9 µm

0.2 % <= 4 µm

Additional information

The particle size distribution of the test item was determined according to internationally accepted guidelines: ISO 13320, OECD TG 110 and EPA OCSPP 830.7520.

The density values were the follows:

D10 = 20.5 µm, D50, median particle size = 50.9 µm and D90 = 95.5 µm.

Less than the 0.2% in volume of the test item has a particle size <= 4 µm (respirable fraction (the mass fraction of particles that reaches the alveoli), as indicated in the CEN document, EN 481‘Workplace Atmospheres - size fraction definitions for measurement of airborne particles”, 1993.
