Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The registered substance is considered to have low volatility, based on its two constituents, having a Vapour pressure at ambient temperature < 1E-9 Pa for the major, and < 10 Pa for the second one.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Considering the registered substance is a multi-constituent, experimental testing was not considered suitable, as it would reflect the most volatile component, and not the substance as a whole. Therefore, a constituent-based approach was prefered.

For the major constituent, no published data or no valid QSAR model was available. A prediction was nevertheless calculated with EpiSuite model, and found very low (2 E-16 Pa at 25°C). The magnitude of order was supported by prediction on an analogue considered to fall within the applicability domain. The result on the analogue, 1 E-9 Pa at 25°C, is retained here as a worst-case.

For the second constituent, reliable literature data ranging between 2.5 and 9.3 Pa at ambient temperature was identified.

No single key value was derived for the multi-constituent substance, result expressed as a range was prefered, having more scientific sense.
