In contact with the flame of the gas burner the test substance melted, emitted yellow sparks and turned into a brown yellow residue. Grey smoke was observed. After removal of the ignition source, no propagation of combustion of the test substance was observed.

The aim of the study was to determine the physico-chemical properties for 2,2'-methylenebis[6-(1-methylcyclohexyl)-p-cresol].
