Description of key information

The boiling point range is from 90 to 320°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The boiling point range of 146 to 299°C (initial to final) was obtained from The Compilation of Selected Physico-Chemical Properties of Petroleum Substances (CONCAWE 2010, reliable with restrictions). Boiling point was determined for various kerosine substances according to the EN ISO 3405 and ASTM D-86 methods

CAS numbers included in this category indicate a boiling point range of 90-320ºC.

An additional boiling point range of 125 to 300°C at 101.3 kPa was obtained from the CONCAWE 1994 product dossier. The boiling point was determined using the ASTM D-86 method and this study is classified as reliable with restrictions.
