- No information is available concerning methods used, guidelines followed. However, as the data comes from a peer-reviewed handbook, the information is connsidered to be of the high quality (reliability Klimisch 2). The test material did induce mortality in rats when administered intraperitoneally. An LD50 of >380 mg/kg is given.

The Patty´s Industial Hygiene and Toxicology also contains information about 1,2,3 -propanetriol, glycidyl ethers (Patty's Industial Hygiene and Toxicology, 3erd Ed, Hine et al., 1981). There is mentionned, that the substance, when adminstered intraperitoneally to rats, an LD50 value of >380 mg/kg bw is given.
