Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
No information is available concerning methods used, guidelines followed. However, as the data comes from a peer-reviewed handbook, the information is considered to be of high quality (reliability Klimisch 2). The test material did not induce any effects at 0.1 g/kg but at 0.2 g/kg depression of white cell count and bone marroy nucleated cell count were noted after application of the test substance to rats at 0.1 and 0.2 g/kg intramuscularly for 6 applications.
Executive summary:

The Patty´s Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology also contains information about 1,2,3 -propanetriol, glycidyl ethers (Patty's Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology, 3erd Ed, Hine et al., 1981). There a study is mentioned, where the test substance was administered intramuscular to rats at 0.1 and 0.2 g/kg for 6 applications. No effects at 0.1 g/kg, At 0.2 g/kg depresion of white cell count and bone marrow nucleated cell count.
