Data waiving:
study technically not feasible
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance is highly insoluble in water

Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VIII, a hydrolysis study (required in section is not performed as it is technically not feasibly due to the insolubility of the substance in water.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

According to the EU method C.7 guideline, the concentration of test samples should not exceed half the water solubility of the test substance or 0.01 M, whichever is lower. The water solubility of the test substance is <1 mg/l (see section 4.8). No analytical method was available to support the hydrolysis test at this low concentration level. The test on the hydrolysis of the test substance could therefore not be performed.
