Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The density of the molten substance is 1.096 g/cm3 at 110 °C and 1.064 g/cm3 at 150 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.096

Additional information

"Should read: 1.096 g/cm3 at 110 °C"

This report may be used although the density was determined for a liquid and information on density for solids is needed in order to evaluate whether the substance sinks or floats in water (density lower or higher than 1). However, the density is 1.064 g/cm3

at 150°C and 1.096 g/cm3 at 110°C and can be expected to be even higher for the solid. Therefore, no additional study is needed.
