Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
The test item 1-Chloro-2,5-dimethoxy-4-nitrobenzene can be classified as not flammable.
Executive summary:

The Flammability of the test item 1-Chloro-2,5-dimethoxy-4-nitrobenzene was determined according to European Commission Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, Annex, Part A, A.10.

Therefore the test item was formed to an uninterrupted pile of 250 mm in length on a ceran plate. It was tried to ignite the substance-pile at one end with the flame of a tecluburner. Temporarily inflammation was observed for the time the burner was used for ignition. Immediately after removal of the teclu burner the flame extincted. Because it was impossible to ignite the test item durable the main test had not to be performed.

The test item

1-Chloro-2,5-dimethoxy-4-nitrobenzene

can be classified as not flammable.
