Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test item has been tested for potential deflagration in analogy to Guideline C.1 of the "Manual of Test and Criteria" of the Recommendations on Transport of Dangerous Goods" by heating the substance in a closed system. The results showed, that there is no deflagration at 100 °C. There was marginal exothermic decomposition between 60 and 90 °C, followed by an endothermic reaction between 90 and 120 °C. A second endothermic reaction occurred between 180 and 280 °C. Main exothermic decomposition at temperature range 180 - 280 °C (decomposition energy -680 J/g). Overall, there were no hints of auto flammability.
