Description of key information

The density of the test item has been determined to be 1 010 kg/m3 at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C, with a corresponding relative density value of 1.01.
This is similar to water.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.01

Additional information

A fully reliable experimental study, conducted according to a recognized OECD/EC method (pycnometer method) and under GLP, is available. It is considered as a key study.

Two runs were performed, and the mean density at 20.0 °C was calculated. This result was then converted to relative density towards water at 4 °C.

The result is retained as key data for purpose of CSA.
