Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
After eye contact: Wash abundantly in big water. Consult a doctor if the irritation persits.
After indigestion: Drink a lot of water. Provoke the vomit, except when the product is classified R65. Consult a doctor in case of faintness.
After inhalation: Place the subject in the air. Consult a doctor
Fire-fighting measures
For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents: water with full jet.
Advice to fireman: Avoid inhaling vapors and clear smokes. Use mask if necessary. Do not attack the fire with water: the water instead of suffocation tends to feed the fire. Essential oil has the faculty to float on the water. The distribution of the fire is then accelerated. To put out a fire being born with essential oil, use a specific fire extinguisher with powder ABC (or equivalent). If the fire is not important, we can suffocate it by covering it with ground, sand or blanket.
Accidental release measures
Precautions for environmental protection: Avoid the contamination of sewers, waters of surface and some subterranean waters.
Methods and material of seclusion and cleaning: the big overflowing must be contained by means of absorbent, sand or sluggish powder, which will then be annihilated and destroyed according to the regulations in force. Get ride by incineration of cloths, toweling, ect. having served to mop (danger of spontaneous combustion).
Handling and storage
Avoid the contact with the product. Do not ingest the product. Hold it far from any food or drink. Do not smoke near. Do not inhale abundantly warm vapors. During the incorporation of the product, this one must be held at relatively low temperatures. In case of necessity of rise of temperatures, this one must be arranged and during a short time. Do not warm in naked flame, nor expose vapors to a flame or to another source of ignition (for example electric equipment). A good aeration of premises is desirable. Respect the precautions required by the common hygiene.
Storage:
It is recommended to store in a closed original packings, shielded from sources of heat and by avoiding the too big differences of temperature. A good aeration of premises is desirable. Respect the precautions required by the common hygiene.
