Test guideline
- Qualifier:
- equivalent or similar to guideline
- Guideline:
- other: ISO 2591-1
- Principles of method if other than guideline:
- A dry sieving technique was applied to determine the particle size distribution of the test substance. Each trial was performed with around 100 g of substance. Nine metal wire sieves with calibrated meshes (4 750, 3 360, 2 380, 1 700, 1 190, 833, 600, 417 and 125 µm) were stacked and submitted to automatic vertical vibrations during 30 min. Each sieve was weighed before and after sieving. Three replicates were performed according to GRAN-94003 (internal method based on ISO 2591-1).
- GLP compliance:
- no
