Endpoint:
vapour pressure
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the melting point is above 300°C

Description of key information

In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the vapour pressure study does not need to be conducted if the melting point is above 300 °C. For the test substance the melting point is considered to be above 320 °C, as decomposition was observed at this temperature. Hence, the study is considered scientifically not necessary. However, the vapour pressure is considered negligible (0.000001 Pa assumed for risk assessment tool) and its numerical determination is not considered scientifically justified.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C
