Additional information

Acid Red 249:1 is a multiconstituent substance composed by the acidic and the sodium salt forms of the same structure (72.7 % and 14.95 % of the substances respectively).

Water solubility was determined by the OECD Guideline 105 (Water solubility), adopted 27.05.95.

The test was performed on the sodium salt of the Acid Red 249:1 and the tested substance results to have a water solubility of 97.47 g/l.

Considering the high similarity between the structures and the composition of the substance Acid Red 249:1 is expected to be soluble as described by the experimental data on the sodium salt.
