Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Two renowned reference handbooks, namely the CRC Handbook and the Merck Index, were used in a weight-of-evidence approach to determine the density of the test substance.

- Result obtained from CRC Handbook: 0.8817 mg/mL at 20°C relative to water at 4°C.

- Results obtained from Merck Handbook: 0.8723 mg/mL at 15°C and 0.8630 mg/mL at 25°C relative to water at 4°C.

The results are in good agreement, although the result obtained from the CRC Handbook slightly deviates from the results obtained from the Merck Handbook.

In conclusion, the density of the test item is ca. 0.87 g/mL at 20°C.
