Description of key information

The determination of the density was performed in a key study using gas comparison pycnometer according to recognized guidelines (OECD 109, EU Method A.3) and under GLP. No deviation from the guidelines was observed during the study.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.578

Additional information

The determination of the density was performed using gas comparison pycnometer according to recognized guidelines (OECD 109, EU Method A.3) and under GLP. No deviation from the guidelines was observed during the study.

Before the determination of the test item density, the apparatus was checked with a reference substance. Based on the results obtained, the apparatus was considered as acceptable for use.

The relative density of the test item ( obtained from two assays in which 3 measurements were performed) was 1.578 ± 0.008 at 23.5°C
