The particle size distribution of magnesium nitrate hexahydrate was determined by laser diffraction analysis-'wet' small volume dispersion method (OECD 110,  ISO 13320 and CIPAC MT 187);  MMAD= 452.17 µm; 0.94%  is < 10.00 µm; 10%  is < 210.25 µm;  50%  is < 505.54 µm and  90% is < 1143.71 µm.
