The substance intended to be registered is a solid but the technical product is only available as aqueous solution and therefore never manufactured/imported or used in dried form, cf. chapter 4.1. According to ECHA Guidance on information requirements and Chemical Safety Assessment Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance, Version 5.0 December 2016, chapter R.7.1.9.4 "Flash Point: Adaption to standard testing regime", it is stated that testing is technically not possible if decomposition occurs during the melting point study. The technical product is an aqueous solution of MPAAU. As MPAAU decomposed during the melting point study, cf. chapter 4.2 and the technical product is a flame retardant, the endpoint is waived according to REACH Annex XI No. 2 "Testing is technically not possible" .
