Additional information

The hydrolysis resulted to be a negligible abiotic degradation process for Spinflam MF 83 PP-25 in environmental conditions. Furthermore, the substance is not readily biodegradable neither ultimate biodegradable.

In the usual conditions, the substance is used in closed systems at 100 %. Plants are provided by internal recycle systems and all production residues are re-used, therefore significant release into surface waters is not expected, and exposure of sediment is thereby unlikely.

The substance is expected to be characterized by a low potential for bioaccumulation and a low potential to cross biological membranes, on the basis of its negative partition coefficient octanol-water.

In addition, potential for adsorption is expected to be low.
