Executive summary:

Vapour Pressure. 

The vapour pressure has been determined to be 8.8 x 10-10 Pa at 25 ºC, using a vapour pressure balance, Method A.4 Vapour Pressure of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 104 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 23 March 2006.

Based on the raw data of the study a vapour pressure of 6.2E-06 Pa at 80 °C can be extrapolated.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of the substance was determined as 8.8E-10 Pa at 25 °C (298 K) according to OECD Guideline 104 using the effusion method (vapour pressure balance). The vapour pressure at 298 K was extrapolated from the vapour pressure curve.

Additional information

Testing was started after the sample had been under vacuum for approximately 44.5 hours. Temperature and pressure readings were taken between 160 and 170 °C with a one hour dwell at 160°C between runs. Based on the average result of seven runs, the vapour pressure of the substance was determined to be 8.8E-10 Pa at 25 °C (298 K).

A vapour pressure of 6.2E-06 Pa at 80 °C can be extrapolated based on the raw data of the study.
