Additional information

Experimental results were available only for bacterial mutagenicity of SCP liquor. Other studies could not be found in the literature search.

Short description of key information:
- SCP liquor was not mutagenic in the Ames bacterial mutagenicity test with Salmonella typhimurium with and without metabolic activation according to the results in the Key study (OECD 471, EC 440/2008 B.13/14).
- There was no available information concerning germ cell mutagenicity concerning SCP liquor.

Endpoint Conclusion:

Justification for classification or non-classification

SCP liquor is not mutagenic in the Ames bacterial mutagenicity test. There is no available data on germ cell mutagenicity of SCP liquor. Classification is not possible due to the lack of sufficient data on genetic toxicity.
