DPGDA is classified as readily biodegradable. In a DOC-Die-Away test according to OECD guideline 301A the biodegradation of DPGDA was investigated [BASF AG, 2003]. After 28 days > 90 % degradation of DPGDA was determined. Activated domestic sludge was used as inoculum during the test.
