The flammability of bismuth metal powder (-200 mesh) was determined according to EU method A.10. The test item could not be ignited with a flame in a preliminary test. The performance of the main test was therefore not necessary. Results show that the test item is not a flammable solid.
Justification for classification or non-classification
The flammability of bismuth metal powder was determined according to EU method A.10. Based on experimental results bismuth metal does not need to be classified according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 (CLP Regulation).
