Description of key information

The thermal stability of Z-Oil was investigated in a study conducted according to OECD Guideline 113. The DSC measurements in closed glass and stainless steel crucibles with the test material showed no exothermal effects up to the maximum temperatures (460 and 500°C) and no endothermal effects below 150°C. Therefore the test material can be regarded as thermally stable.

Additional information

Reliable results on the thermal stability of Z-Oil were obtained in a study conducted according to OECD Guideline 113 (Screening Test for Thermal Stability and Stability in Air).

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on DSC measurements the test item can be regarded as thermally stable.
