Description of key information

Ethylene diacetate has a low volatilisation potential from the water phase.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No experimental studies determining the Henry’s Law constant of ethylene diacetate (CAS 111-55-7) are available. Results from HENRYWIN v3.20 indicate no potential for volatilisation of ethylene diacetate from water into air based on Henry’s Law constants of 0.006 Pa m³/mole (Group estimation method) and 0.06 Pa m³/mole (Bond estimation method).
