Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
Water solubility data was available for 4 streams within this Category. Two results showed the water solubility range to be between 62 and 108 at 20 °C. One study showed The test item is water-soluble to some extend. Different results for the water solubility were found depending on the amount of test item applied. At sample sizes of c 100 mg/l (97.16 to 139.08 mg/l) water soluble fractions of c. 24% (22 to 27%) were found, at sample sizes of c. 1000 mg/L (1104.50 to 1150.00 mg/l) the water soluble fractions were found to be each c. 5%. This study appears to indicate that following equilibrium the test substance is more soluble. This is not usually the case. A further study provided a water solubility value of 0.013 g/100ml.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
