Description of key information

Read across. The dissociation constant is read across from a substance with structural similarities within the Amidoamines/Imidazoline category. The pKa values for the test substance are 10.02, 9.21 and 4.42 at 25ºC.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A read across to a substance with the same dissociating part of the molecule as for the substance registered. It is assumed that length of the hydrophobe has no significant effect on the pKa value. The pKa values for the test substance are 10.02, 9.21 and 4.42 at 25ºC from the read across study. These values are supported by a Q(SAR) calculation. Furthermore, the pKa is not strongly temperature dependent.
