Conclusion on classification

Three acute endpoints for three different trophic levels are available. The lowest ErC50 is found for algae and is 0.8 mg/L. Two chronic endpoints for algae and daphnids are available, the most sensitive are algae with an ErC10 of 0.44 mg/L.

The substance is readily biodegradable and has a log Kow < 4.

These findings lead to R50 under Directive (67/548/EEC).

Under Regulation (EU) No 286/2011 (2nd ATP to CLP) the substance is classified as Aquatic Acute 1, H400 as well as Aquatic Chronic 3, H412. Based on the acute and chronic algae endpoint, respectively.
