Conclusion on classification

Three acute endpoints for three different trophic levels are available. The lowest EC50 is found for algae and is 0.8 mg/L. Three chronic endpoint for three different trophic levels are available, the most sensitive are fish with an LC10 of 0.101 mg/L.

The substance is readily biodegradability and has a log Kow < 4.

The EC50 for algae of 0.8 mg/L is less than 1.0 mg/L, therefore under Regulation (EU) No 286/2011 (2nd ATP to CLP) this would lead to Aquatic Acute 1, H400.

The substance is readily biodegradable and the chronic LC10 for fish of 0.101 mg/L is between 0.1 and 1.0 mg/L. This would lead to Aquatic chronic 3, H412.

Proposal for classification: Category acute 1 and Category chronic 3
