Description of key information

The substance degrades both abiotically and biotically. Hydrolysis occurs rapidly at 25°C (1/2 life <2 days) at pH 9 but the rate reduces with pH. At pH 7 1/2 life is estimated as approximately 40 days and at pH4 at approximately 80 days.

The substance can be considered as likely to degrade rapidly abiotically under environmental conditions and transient at higher pHs.
