Chronic data are available for algae (NOEC > 1 mg/L) (no other measured long-term studies are available).

Classification is based on the available chronic (algae) and acute toxicity data (Daphnia and fish; EC/LC50 > 100 mg/L). The chronic data indicate that the substance is not to be classified as hazardous to the aquatic environment. The data available for chronic classification are conclusive but not sufficient for classification.

 

The substance is not readily biodegradable, its logKow is < 4. Therefore, the substance is not to be classified as chronically hazardous to the environment.

 

Based on the available data, the test substance does not meet the criteria for classification as acutely or chronically toxic according to Regulation 1272/2008.
