Results and discussion

Details on results:
Sediment samples were collected downstream from two point source discharges. Mean DIDP concentrations above and below both point sourceswere below detection limits, 0.02 mg/kg dry wt, in all three samples collected at each station. Sediment concentrations at stations upstream of bothpoint sources were also below detection limits.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:
Sediments from 8 lakes in and 10 sample locations in a Swedish river system that provided a gradient of anthropogenic influence were analyzed forDIDP in 1994. A total of 54 sediment analyses were performed on samples collected from these locations. DIDP was not detected in any sample(estimated detection limit was 0.02 mg/kg dry wt).
