The DTA thermogram of chlorosulphuric acid shows only endothermic effects above 150 °C, indicating decomposition into gaseous products.

From these results it can be concluded that chlorosulphuric acid is not a self-reactive substance as defined by the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, section 2.4.2.3, and the European CLP Directive (No. 1272/2008), Annex I, chapter 2.8.
