Description of key information

In a study according to OECD test guideline 201 under GLP the growth rate EC50 (72h) of the test substance was 16.06 mg/l.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC50 for freshwater algae:
16.06 mg/L
EC10 or NOEC for freshwater algae:
2.4 mg/L

Additional information

A reliable study according to OECD test guideline 201 under GLP with the alga Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata assessing the toxicity of the registered substance to algae is available. The test substance was applied directly (no vehicle was used) for 72h in a static freshwater system. Good agreement of nominal and measured concentrations was verified analytically. All validity criteria were met. The growth rate EC50 (72h) of the test substance was 16.06 mg/l, while the EC10 was 2.40 mg/L.
