Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In a GLP-study similar to OECD Guideline 106 (Adsorption - Desorption Using a Batch Equilibrium Method) and also to EPA N 163 -1 using four soils, the absorption coefficient of one of the two constituents of the registered substance was determined to be in the range of 351 to 630 (geometric mean: 514.98) with desorption coefficients between 526 and 934 ml/g (depending on the soil). This result is considered for the registered substance.

Additional information

The adsorption and desorption of one of the two constituents of the registered substance was determined in four soils namely a sandy loam (Soil I, California Porterville), a loamy sand (Soil II, Illinois 1A), a silt loam (Soil III, Illinois, Site 1) and a loam (Soil IV, Iowa 1A) using radio-labelling.

The total recoveries obtained for the highest concentrations were in a range of 98.6% and 103.2% of the radioactivity applied.

The mean of the four respective Koc was calculated to be 527.3.

This result is considered for the registered substance.
