In order to comply with the demand of EG-guideline 92/69, the nonionic form of the test item and considering enviromental relevance, pH 7 was chosen as pH value for the buffer.
The reference log Pow-values in the OECD-guideline presumably refer to 25°C. The column temperature was 40°C. However, the influence of this temperature difference on the calculated log P value lies within the range of the error of the method.
