Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

The sample is closed up in a crucible made of aluminium and heated up in a DTA-system (heating rate 1 K/min). In comparison with an inert sample the temperature difference and the heat effect is recorded. The melting curve of the sample is a steep endothermic signal. This procedure conforms to the test method A.1 (section 1.4.4.1), "determination of the melting point", described in the EG-guideline92/69.
