Hydrolysis

The hydrolytic behavior of the substance was investigated according to the OECD guideline 111. No abiotic degradation of the substance coud be observed at all three pHs (4, 7 and 9) at a temperature of 50°C. As a conclusion the substance is also considered to be stable at ambient temperature.

Biodegradation in water: screenting test

Within 28 days, a degradation of 0 % was determined in a test on ready biodegradability. In another test on inherent degradability the test material was considered to be not inherently biodegradable with only 10 % degradation oberved in 28 days.

Therefore the test material has to be classified as "Not readily biodegradable and not inherently degradable".

Adsorption/ desorption

The adsorption coefficient (logKoc) on soil and on sewage sludge of -1.3 (KOC = 0.05) was measured at 25 °C and pH 6.4.
