Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Short term toxicity to fish: In a limit test a LC0-value of >= 10.000 mg/l after 96 h was obtained for the test material against fish (Danio rerio). The result

is expressed in terms of nominal concentrations. No toxic effects against fish were observed at a limit test concentration of 10.000 mg/L under exposure conditions.

Short term toxicity to aquatic invertebrate: No toxic effects (EC50 > 100 mg/L) in a study against Daphnia were observed after 48 h. The results are expressed in terms of nominal concentrations. Recovery rates correspond to 88.1% of nominal values at 0 hours, and to 94.5% of nominal values at 48 hours, respectively.

Short term toxicity to aquatic algae: After 72 h no toxic effects against algae at 100 mg/l could be observed. All results are expressed in terms of nominal concentrations. Recovery  rates ranged from 98.6 - 100 % of nominal values at 0 hours, and from 123  - 128 %

of nominal values at 72 hours, respectively.

Toxicity to microorganisms: The test material showed 0 % respiration inhibition of activated sludge at the highest test item concentration of 10.000 mg/L

according to the EU Method C.11. The EC50 is higher than 10.000 mg/L. Result is expressed in terms of nominal concentrations.

All toxicity studies mentioned above are classified as acceptable and satisfy the guideline requirements

for the toxicity studies on acute toxicity to aquatic organisms.
