Acute aquatic toxicity:

Algae were the most sensitive species to exposure of Sika Hardener LG, with a 72-h EC50 (growth rate) of 51.9 mg/L. Based on the results obtained and classification and labelling by the German Competent Authority for polyaldimine substances (e.g. EC # 479-940-2 and EC # 479-930-8), Sika Hardener LG was not classified and labelled as dangerous to the environment according to Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD) and classified and labelled chronic env. tox. cat. 3 (H412: Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects) according to Regulation 1272/2008/EC (CLP).

Chronic aquatic toxicity:
