Administrative data
First-aid measures
- Inhalation : Remove victim to fresh air. Assure fresh air breathing. Obtain medical attention if irritation persists.
- Skin contact : DO NOT DELAY. Remove affected clothing and wash all exposed skin area with mild soap and water. If rapid recovery does not occur, obtain emergency medical attention.
- Eye contact : DO NOT DELAY. In case of eye contact, immediately rinse with clean water for 10-15 minutes. Contact ophthalmologist immediately.
- Ingestion : Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice.
Prevention : If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the document where possible).
Note to physician : Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Flammable class : Not classified as flammable but will burn.
Hazardous combustion products : Carbon dioxide. Carbon monoxide.
Extinguishing media : Water spray. Foam. Dry powder. Carbon dioxide. Sand. Do not use a heavy water stream.
Surrounding fires : Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers.
Protection against fire : Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory protection. Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions : Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not breathe vapours. Do not breathe dust. Equip cleanup crew with proper protection. See section 8.
Environmental precautions : Prevent entry to sewers and public waters. Notify authorities if product enters sewers or public waters.
Clean up methods : Do not use water for cleaning. Soak up spills with inert solids, such as clay or diatomaceous earth as soon as possible. Collect spills and put it into appropriated container. Scrub contaminated surfaces with detergent solution. Recover the cleaning or contacted water for later diposal. Dispose in a safe manner in accordance with local/national regulations.
Handling and storage
General : Use only in well ventilated areas. No naked lights. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Do not breathe vapours. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wear recommended personal protective equipment. See section Exposure controls and personal protection.
Storage : Keep container closed when not in use. Keep only in the original container in a cool, well ventilated place. Keep in a bunded area. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.
Storage - away from : Keep away from combustible material. Flammable. Acids, bases. Oxidizing agent.
Aerosol can. Sources of ignition.
Handling : Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eat, drink or smoke and when leaving work.
Packing : Stainless steel.. Avoid : PVC. Natural rubber. Butyl-rubber. Neoprene rubber

Exposure controls / personal protection
- Personal protection: Avoid all unnecessary exposure.
- Respiratory protection : If risk of inhalation wear: half mask respirator with organic vapour cartridge and built-in particulate filter (gas only).
In a confined space, wear self-contained breathing apparatus open circuit type.
- Hand protection : Use nitrile rubber gloves.
- Skin protection : If skin contact or contamination of clothing is likely, protective clothing should be worn. Use safety shoes resistant to chemical products.
- Eye protection : Safety glasses with side guards should be worn to prevent injury from airborne particles and/or other eye contact with this product.
- Ingestion : When using, do not eat, drink or smoke. Hygiene mesures : Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eat, drink or smoke and when leaving work. Wash clothing before re-using.
-Technical protective measures : Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas.
- Occupational Exposure Limits : Phenol : VLA-ED [ppm] : 2 Phenol : VLA-ED [mg/m³] : 8
-Exposure controls of environment : In accordance with local and national regulations.
Stability and reactivity
Stability and reactivity : Stable under recommended storage conditions.
Materials to avoid : Avoid contact with : Acids, bases. Strong oxidizers.
Conditions to avoid : Open flame. Heat. Sparks.
Disposal considerations
General : Avoid release to the environment. Dispose in a safe manner in accordance with local/national regulations.
Disposal method : Recover or recycle if possible. Otherwise: Incineration.
Contaminated packaging : Rinse three times with suitable solvent. Treat rinsings as for product disposal.
Empty containers should be taken to local recyclers for disposal.
