Description of key information

In accordance with points 9.2.1.2 and 9.2.1.4, Column 2, Annex IX of Regulation 1907/2006, further degradation testing shall only be considered if the Chemical Safety Assessment indicates the need to investigate further the degradation of the substance. Furthermore, the study does not need to be conducted if the substance is readily biodegradable and if direct and indirect exposure of surface water and sediment is unlikely. The substance was found to be readily biodegradable in the submitted screening study, and direct and indirect exposure of sediment is considered unlikely. Testing is therefore not required.
